What is Etoma™

Electrically conductive compounds based on multiple polymers with vary surface resistivity. Main applications include antistatic, ESD protection, controlling explosive atmospheres (ATEX), electromagnetic shielding and sensors.

Electrostatic discharge (ESD) / electrical overstress (EOS) has been a predominant failure mechanism across all products in semiconductor industry. Etoma provides conductive or antistatic property in thermoplastic compounds which protect from ESD. 
Low ion content and dimensional stability are important issues to semiconductor manufacturing. Etoma has specialized grades designed to FOUP (Front Opening Unified Pod), IC trays, carrier tapes.
